Following an ambitious multi-year tour that saw the band bring their Heavy Metal Power to Europe, Canada and the USA, Australian heavy metal band Elm Street finally return with their third album "The Great Tribulation"! A soundtrack for troubled times, or a charred mirror reflecting the state of the world today, "The Great Tribulation" provides commentary on the darker side of life, and pairs it with their most ambitious and hard-hitting music to date.
Recorded at Melbourne's legendary Sing Sing Studios, mastered and mixed by Luke Cincotta (Airbourne, The Amity Affliction) and German legend Michael Mainx (Tankard, Destruction), respectively and complete with striking artwork by Andreas Marschall (Kreator, In Flames, Sodom, Blind Guardian) and photography by multi-time Australian Photographer of the Year Peter Coulson, there is no doubt that album number three from the thunder from down under will be well received by old fans and new alike, and set a very high benchmark for what to expect in the future.

About
"Metal Is The Way" - a song that turned into a mission statement for Australia's Elm Street. The band was formed by four high school friends in 2004 and continued to grow into a global touring entity, following the release of their debut album "Barbed Wire Metal" on Massacre Records. The band took to the European market sharing stages with Iced Earth, Grand Magus and Ross The Boss, before heading over to North America touring with Dirkschneider, Skull Fist and Night Demon. "Knock 'Em Out... With A Metal Fist" was released in 2016 on Massacre Records following a relentless few years touring around the world.
With brand new album "The Great Tribulation", Elm Street continue to mould their own sound of heavy metal, that is packed by the influence of metal greats of the past and present.
